Place the jalapenos in a dehydrator machine, and dehydrate for 4-6 hours. The jalapenos should be very dry – if there are parts that are still moist your powder will get sticky/tacky quickly. Place the dehydrated jalapenos into a spice grinder and blend until they become a fine powder. You may need to work in batches. Store the powder in an airtight jar in a cool dry place. Notes For a less spicy powder, remove and discard the seeds before grinding.
